As reported by The Korea Herald, a woman in her 30s broke into the LG Arts Center’s dressing room in Seoul on Nov. 19 and threatened the singer with a weapon. Kyuhyun tried to disarm her and ended up with a small cut to the finger.
The woman was promptly arrested by the police, and after an investigation into her background, it was concluded that she had no connection to the cast.
"The woman had never stalked any actors before," the police reported.
The police are investigating further to determine the motive for the crime and other details. They believe Kyuhyun was not the primary target of the attack.
According to The Strait Times, Kyuhyun’s wound did not require any suturing and no one else was harmed.
Cho Kyuhyun, 35, was born in Seoul and debuted with Super Junior in 2006.
He launched a solo career in 2014 with his first album "At Gwanghwamun" which charted on several Korean music sites.
