Stars flock to defender, beauty queen’s wedding

The famous couple held their long-anticipated wedding ceremony at a five-star hotel in Hanoi on Sunday. Many celebrity friends of the couple and their families arrived at the venue to celebrate their big day.

Former head coach Park Hang-seo of the national football team was spotted among the guests.

He sent Hau, one of his proteges, a congratulatory message.

Actress Bao Han, a close friend of the beauty queen bride, arrived at the venue early to support her.

Actor Binh An chose a simple outlook as he attended the ceremony, with a white shirt and black trousers.

Singer Tuan Hung was also present as a friend of the bride’s father. It is reported that Doan Hai Son, My’s father, was a member of a hip-hop club in Hanoi. Many among his fellow members have become famous artists in Vietnam.

Actor Do Duy Nam (second from L) is a longtime close friend of Hau.

Midfielder Mac Hong Quan and his wife, model Ky Han, also attended the ceremony.

A close friend of the couple who has witnessed their relationship from the start, actress Hoang Kim Ngoc was also one of the guests.

Midfielder Quang Hai and his girlfriend, model Chu Thanh Huyen, arrived at the venue.

Center-back Bui Hoang Viet Anh (L) and defender Vu Van Thanh were other teammates of Hau at the national football squad.

With the concept of a garden paradise, the ceremony’s venue was decorated with countless crystals and flowers including roses, hydrangeas, tulips, callas, and lilies of the valley. A quartet of musical artists were present at the entrance of the venue to welcome guests.
Hau, 24, gained popularity after his early-career performances made him a regular starter for the national football team. His play contributed to Vietnam winning the 2018 SEA Games. He and My, 22, began dating a few months after My competed in the 2020 Miss Vietnam contest.
The couple publicized their relationship in 2022. They completed their engagement ceremony in Hanoi earlier this month, followed by a same-day wedding ceremony in Hau’s hometown, the northern Thai Binh province.
