The accident reportedly left Truong’s car in a short-circuit, with smoke rising from the engines.
Truong’s manager Hoang Tuan said the accident occurred at night on a suburban highway,
"Truong panicked after the accident but he tried to keep calm," Tuan said. "Both Truong’s physical and mental health have recovered."
He added that many parts of the car were broken and needed to be fixed, but the cost would be covered by the insurance company.

Truong said he was on his way to the countryside to enjoy his vacation when the accident happened. The highway’s speed limit was 120 kilometers per hour, and he was traveling at 112.
A deer suddenly jumped in front of his car, and though he immediately pulled the brake, it was not in time to avoid the crash. His car’s airbags deployed on impact.
"I rushed to get out [of the car] afraid that my car could explode or would get hit by another vehicle passing by," he said. "But for some reason I couldn’t release my seatbelt, which made me more anxious."
He then turned his car’s hazard lights on. A passerby recognized his situation and helped him call the police.
Truong said he has always driven carefully and rarely gets into traffic accidents. Still, he said the incident left him threatened and served as a reminder for him to pay more attention to the road while driving in future.
