As reported by Korea JoongAng Daily, the detained celebrities also include Bomi from the South Korean girl group Apink, TV presenter Choi Hee, and singer Lim Na-young, formerly of the girl group I.O.I.

According to AsiaOne, the group arrived in Bali on Sunday to film episodes for the forthcoming travel show "Pick Me Trip in Bali," which is scheduled to air on the South Korean channel KBS Joy.

However, after filming on the island, the crew has been barred from leaving Indonesia because the production team did not obtain the necessary filming permits from the Indonesian government. All the celebrities’ passports have been confiscated.

Indonesian laws stipulate that foreigners must acquire a specific filming permit in addition to their tourist visas, especially when filming in sensitive locations such as natural reserves.

KBS Joy has not yet confirmed a new broadcast date for "Pick Me Trip in Bali."
