According to the Hong Kong news site The Standard, Aaron Kwok was invited to represent the Shell JK Lynk & Co. Racing Team at the Macau Touring Cup Car, also known as the Macau Grand Prix.

The male star drove a red sportscar emblazoned with the number 88. During the race on Nov. 19, he was rammed by a black-and-white sportscar as the two cars approached a bend. The other car lost control and collided with the fence, totaling the vehicle.

On the other hand, Kwok’s car sustained less damage, but he ended up forfeiting later on due to technical complications.

It was reported that Kwok is in stable condition, although he chose not to comment on the accident as reported by the Singaporean news site AsiaOne.

Prior to participating in the competition, the actor and singer expressed his confidence when asked about the race. He also added that although he is not a professional racer, he was eager to learn and improve his skills via the event.

His presence at the competition attracted a large crowd of viewers. Observers in the audience commented on his handsome appearance, adding that he looked younger than his age due to his blonde, stylish hairstyle.

Aaron Kwok was born in 1965, the youngest of four siblings. He debuted as a singer and actor after enrolling in a talent training course at the Hong Kong broadcast company TVB in 1984. His popularity in the Cantopop genre earned him the title of one of Hong Kong’s "Four Heavenly Kings" —four male artists who dominated the Hong Kong entertainment industry in the 1990s.

He has appeared in various Hong Kong films such as "The Storm Riders," "After This Our Exile," "Cold War," "Divergence," and "Project Gutenberg."

His wife is Chinese model Moka Fang. They have two daughters together, Chantelle and Charlotte Kwok.
