Miss Vietnam enjoys great first year of marriage

The beauty queen officially tied the knot with Quang in October last year after two years of dating.
According to Linh, she married Quang because he matched her perspectives and life values, not for his money or family background.
Linh, 27, represented Vietnam at the 2017 Miss World contest and made it to the top 40. She was active as a fashion model and a TV host before getting married.
Quang, 28, is president of the Hanoi Football Club and heir to the legacy of Do Quang Hien, the chairman of the Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB).

Linh has been focusing on her family since her wedding. She said in a previous interview that she underwent a few struggles at first because her life suddenly changed, but she overcame them when she realized that she had to prioritize different things in different phases in her life.

Linh has accompanied Quang to many important Hanoi Football Club matches. She often wears designer brands when she appears in public.

The beauty queen has also been running her own fashion brand, but she slowed her pace after becoming pregnant. She said she enjoys fashion as a hobby, and because of that, feels happy operating her business.
As someone who finds joy in working and easily feels bored if having too much spare time, Linh still said she feels happy navigating a career and family simultaneously, even though she’s currently focusing much more on the latter than the former.

Linh said she learned a lot during her first Tet Lunar New Year holiday after marriage. She paid attention to how her mother-in-law and others shopped for things, decorated the house, and prepared meals as well as offerings.
Miss Vietnam 2016 said she was happy to have a considerate husband who has always done his best to make her feel comfortable living with her in-laws.

Linh still enjoys time with her friends while pregnant.

She gave birth to her and Quang’s first daughter in July, but the couple only revealed the news two months later.

Quang and Linh’s close friends threw a party for her in celebration of her birthday last month.
Linh said she had a special birthday, since it was her first celebration as a wife and mother.

Linh showed up at a public event for the first time four months after giving birth. She said that although she had gained 17 kg during her pregnancy, she was not in a rush to regain her former figure. She said her biggest priority was her daughter’s health.

Linh also said she has become more mature and responsible after becoming a mother. She said she plans to focus on her daughter now and save work for later.

Cutting down on her own business activities, Linh still occasionally attends events held by her in-laws’ businesses, including when she took part in a competition held by SHB as a judge, along with her brother-in-law Do Quang Vinh (L).
According to Linh, she only joins important events because she does not want to stay away from her daughter for too long.

Linh accompanied her husband to SHB’s 30th anniversary of its establishment on Nov. 11, 2023.
The beauty queen said she was glad to contribute efforts to her in-laws’ businesses.
