Blackpink star performs wearing Vietnamese conical hat in US

Rosé from Blackpink wore a conical hat printed with the word “pho” on it, during the group’s concert rehearsal in Las Vegas, showing her affection for Vietnamese fans and food.

When the South Korean girl group attended a soundcheck session prior to their Las Vegas concert on Friday, Rosé chose to appear in the conical hat that was tenderly gifted to her in person by local Vietnamese fans when she was in Hanoi performing last month.

The hat also had images of the singer holding a bowl of pho and of her pet dog.

Rosé has long been known for her affection for pho, which is so much a part of her life on the road that visits Vietnamese restaurants in countries around the world to enjoy it. She has spoken publicly about her love of Vietnamese cuisine on several occasions.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Rosé signed with South Korean label YG Entertainment following an audition in 2012.

She made her debut as a vocalist with the internationally popular girl group Blackpink in 2016.

She made her solo debut with the album ‘R’ five years later.
