Taiwan's Eva Air was named the world's cleanest airline at this year's World Airline Awards following a global survey conducted by British air transport rating organization Skytrax.

Japan's ANA All Nippon Airways came in second, followed by Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways, according to the survey of around 22.3 million customers, with more than 325 airlines featured this year, CNN reported.

Qatar Airways ranked fourth and Singapore Airlines came in fifth.

The rest of the top 10 were Hainan Airlines, Starlux Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air and China Southern.

Eva Air has been consistently recognized for cleanliness. Its aircraft cabins have been awarded the world's cleanest by Skytrax since 2015.

The airline said it emphasizes maintaining high standards of cabin cleanliness and quality, conducting regular inspections to ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction.
