The Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) will be updated with a redesigned interface, seven additional language options and passport scan autofill to make submissions faster and easier for travelers.

The new features will be available through the MyICA mobile app and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority's (ICA) website from Aug. 26, according to an ICA Facebook post on Aug. 19.

The current SGAC offers 12 language options.

The new additions are Bahasa Indonesia, Dutch, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Filipino and Italian, bringing the total to 19 languages, Channel News Asia reported.

Singapore, ranked the world's second-richest country by GDP per capita in 2025, seeks to make travel and immigration processes more seamless, convenient and user-friendly for travelers.

ICA said passport scan autofill is currently available only to foreign travelers.

Under the enhanced system, the feature will also be extended to Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders, in addition to the existing Singpass information retrieval option, The Straits Times reported.

The Singapore Arrival Card is a mandatory health declaration that all travelers must submit before arriving in Singapore, except those transiting without seeking immigration clearance and residents travelling through the Woodlands and Tuas land checkpoints.
