A new survey released by online travel agency Agoda has found that long flight delays frustrate Vietnamese passengers the most during their trip.

The second most annoying experience for Vietnamese passengers on flights was discourteous behavior of fellow travelers, followed by loud passengers, according to the survey of 1,000 Vietnamese respondents.

Fight delays are also the top source of annoyance for travelers from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and India as they rated it as their biggest in-flight frustration.

For travelers from South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan, personal space invasion was named the most annoying experience on their flights.

Discourteous behavior from fellow passengers is the number one bugbear for Australian travelers while Japanese passengers rated rude airline staff as their biggest annoyance.

The research was conducted by YouGov in July. Just over 12,000 respondents in 10 markets across the Asia-Pacific region were interviewed online and represented those who have been on holiday at least once in the past year.
