It received a 59 percent value rating in the survey which asked 2,000 British tourists to rate holiday hotspots on cost-effectiveness based on their travel experiences. It was commissioned by Post Office, the U.K.’s leading currency exchange agency.
Dubai got 44 percent and Scandinavia, 42 percent.
Spain topped with a rating of 92 percent, followed by the Canary Islands and Greece.
Portugal and Turkey rounded out the top five.
