Vietnam Airlines has announced that it will increase the frequency of flights between Vietnam's southern largest economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok of Thailand from 3 to 4 flights per day starting Dec. 1, using Airbus A321 aircraft.

With this move, the national flag carrier will operate approximately 50 direct flights per week on routes connecting Hanoi and HCMC with Bangkok.

Currently, Thailand is the destination with the highest seat capacity offered by Vietnam Airlines among its routes in Southeast Asia.

A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that increasing air connections between HCMC and Bangkok not only meets the growing travel demand but also contributes to promoting economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges, opening new cooperation opportunities, and affirming the position of the two cities as the economic and cultural hubs in the region.

Vietnam Airlines is offering a special promotion with round-trip tickets for flights on the route priced from only VND4 million (US$164).
