Da Nang is celebrating its 50th liberation anniversary with a range of events, drawing many travelers to the coastal city.

The year 2025 marks 50 years since Da Nang's liberation on March 29, 1975, a pivotal moment in Vietnam's history. The city has grown into one of the country's most dynamic, known for its tourism, modern landmarks, and attractions.

To commemorate this important occasion, Da Nang is hosting cultural and artistic events, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore the city's rich history and vibrant atmosphere.

Sunflower Festival at Ba Na Hills

The festival at Sun World Ba Na Hills will give visitors the chance to enjoy the sight of thousands of sunflowers set against a European-inspired backdrop, creating a scene reminiscent of a Van Gogh painting.

The displays include installations such as the "Sunshine Flower Path" at the foot of the Golden Bridge, "Blossom Street" at Hoi Tu Square, and the "Sun Goddess" at Uyen Uong Garden, offering visitors memorable photo opportunities.

After the Sunflower Festival, Ba Na Hills will host the Rose Festival throughout May 2025. In addition, international artists will perform mini-shows to contribute to the festive atmosphere. Visitors can also experience Vietnamese culture at Tru Vu Tea House, where traditional customs and cultural practices are showcased in a serene environment.
