The first tour is expected to be launched on May 19 and tourists will be offered a preferential price of VND1.98 million on the first day.
The tour operated by TST Tourist will be run each Saturday and Sunday, allowing a maximum 25 passengers.
During the journey that lasts two hours and a half, tourists will be served European-style dishes and Chilean wine while exploring the scenery dotted with skyscrapers along the river.
The cruise will depart at 4 p.m. from Saigon Water Bus Station on Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1.
HCMC has been making efforts to diversify travel experiences for tourists post reopening.
During the Reunification Day holiday, it debuted a helicopter tour that allows visitors to view the metropolis from above at a price of VND4.08 million per person.
HCMC hopes to receive 25 million domestic and 3.5 million foreign tourists this year.
Its tourism sector has a revenue target of VND97.7 trillion.
