The video, uploaded by TikTok user @lunachloe0573 and viewed more than 42,000 times, shows the woman, accompanied by a baby, allegedly cut in line in front of a couple with three children, Mothership reported.
The woman responded by filming them as well, remarking that they were not the only ones who could take videos.
She went on to say in Mandarin: "What's wrong with Chinese people? Do they embarrass you? If not for China, there’s no Singapore," according to The Independent.
Her comments sparked an online backlash, with many social media users condemning her behavior.
"When travelling here, you must abide by our local rules. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. You have to queue up in Singapore," one user wrote.
Another added, "How embarrassing for the family! Please don't affect the children with your arrogance."
Others urged restraint, with one commenter writing: "It is really a very small matter, life is short, both need to know how to forgive."
In response to the incident, Resorts World Sentosa, which operates Universal Studios Singapore, released a statement on Aug. 20 emphasizing its values of "courtesy, respect and queuing etiquette."
The resort added that "this matter was resolved."
