Passengers are also encouraged to register for biometric facial recognition for faster processing. Security measures have been intensified, with increased patrols and emphasis on passenger service.

Head of Suvarnabhumi Airport's executive team Keerati Kitmanawat said the airport coordinated with authorities, airlines and other businesses to ensure safety for passengers.

He said the airport is embracing the spirit of the New Year by offering gifts to passengers. Those traveling through the fourth-floor departure terminal can look forward to receiving Travel Kit sets as a token of goodwill.

He emphasized that Suvarnabhumi Airport is ready to welcome tourists from across the globe with open arms. The airport's broader vision is to elevate its service to meet world-class standards.

Within five years, it aims to rank among the global elite in airport services, a testament to Thailand's commitment to enhancing its infrastructure and service delivery.
