Singapore’s national carrier said the tickets are applicable to the airline’s business, premium economy and economy classes for round-trip flights from Singapore to 71 destinations, nearly its entire travel network, the Straits Times reported.
The discounts will be eligible for flights departing between January and September 2024.
The tickets will be available at the upcoming Time to Fly travel fair scheduled from Nov. 3 to 5 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In addition, the discounts will be available on the airline’s website and app, as well as through appointed travel agents.
Low-cost carrier Scoot said its discounted tickets will only be for one-way flights between November 2023 and October 2024.
The discounted tickets will be available online between Nov. 3 and 16 on Scoot's website.
According to Scoot, "airfares will start from S$68 (US$49.5) to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and S$140 to Taipei in Taiwan."
A total of 1.13 million visitors arrived in Singapore in September, up nearly 45% year-on-year, according to the latest statistics released by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
In the first nine months, Singapore received over 10 million foreign visitors.
