Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen has offered all foreign athletes and coaches at the SEA Games free admission to Angkor Wat.

Phnom Penh Post quoted him as saying Monday: "After the games, if athletes want to visit Angkor Wat, they will not be required to buy tickets, but will be admitted for free. I want to make this clear.

"Cambodia may be a small country, but it has a big heart."

Tickets to enter the Angkor Archeological Park cost foreigners US$37-72 depending on the time of day.

The temple complex attracts millions of visitors every year from all over the world, and was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992.

Cambodia is hosting the 32nd SEA Games from May 5 to 17.
