Saigon hosts a diverse array of weekend activities, including family-friendly events, Halloween-themed dining event, craft beer delights, and classical music performances for all to enjoy.

Kidchella 2023

"Kidchella" offers an enjoyable day for families to indulge in music, art, crafts, and clothing shopping. Children can engage in various activities, such as skating in the skate bowl, playing giant Jenga or cornhole, climbing the walls, participating in a breakdancing workshop, or exploring the creative corner.

The event also includes talks and workshops focused on children's wellness, followed by a magic performance. There will be live music at the event.

The event is presented by FTWR and Saigon Outcast and will take place on Oct. 28, from noon to 8 p.m. at Saigon Outcast, at 188/1 Nguyen Van Huong Street, District 2.

ROS in Scary Land

The Halloween events at ROS offer guests a unique opportunity to indulge in delectable cuisine while immersing themselves in the mysterious realm of Halloween. ROS undergoes a transformation, with dimmed lights and decorations creating an enchanting ambiance for all patrons.

There will be captivating performances and exclusive gifts reserved for esteemed guests.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 27 and 28, from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., at ROS - Yacht Club, at Bach Dang Waterbus Station, 10B Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1.

Pilates, plant-based cheese & sustainable wine evening

Experience an evening of pilates, plant-based cheese, and sustainable wine at Kashew Garden Villa. This event offers a unique combination of invigorating pilates sessions and plant-based cuisine and beverages. It's an opportunity to rejuvenate your body, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for wellness.

The event schedule includes a 1-hour plates session from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Following the session, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., you can unwind, dine in a full-course plant-based menu, featuring special Camembert cheeseboards and mezze plates served with fresh pita bread. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy two drinks of your choice, such as refreshing beer, wine, or healthy kombucha.

The pricing for the event is VND900,000 ($36) per person. Visitors can sign up using the provided form. The event will take place on Oct. 27, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Kashew Garden Villa, at 11/2, Street 57, District 2, inside the Thao Dien Villas Compound.

Taps of Terror

BiaCraft D7 presents "Taps of Terror: A Kegicide Spectacle," an event where they transform the venue into a graveyard of flavors, offering a diverse selection of 30 exquisitely chilling brews, ranging from rich stouts to hoppy ales.

For those who wish to relish 36 hours of uninterrupted craft beer consumption, the Wristband Special is available. Wristbands may be purchased for VND350,000 ($11) (limited to a total of 100 wristbands). Alternatively, patrons can enjoy each glass for the modest price of VND50,000 throughout the entire weekend.

The event runs from Oct. 27 to 29, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day, at BiaCraft D7, at 167 Nguyen Duc Canh Street, District 7.

Piano Forte Opus 1: Through the Ages

"Piano Forte Opus 1: Through the Ages" is the first concert organized by the Piano Department of the Conservatory of Ho Chi Minh City. Its main goal is to make classical music more accessible to the public, especially young audiences, whether they are classical music enthusiasts or newcomers.

The event offers a wide variety of musical pieces performed by different pianists. It is divided into two parts, with each part featuring classic compositions by renowned composers.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in Hall A at the Conservatory of Ho Chi Minh City, at 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.
