The tour run by TST Tourist Company will begin on April 29.
For a 40-minute journey, the helicopter will depart from the helipad of Military Medical Hospital 175 or Tan Son Nhat International Airport and take tourists past destinations like Phu My Bridge, Thu Thiem Bridge, Landmark 81 and Binh Quoi Tourist Area.
The tour will use AW-189 helicopter that allows a maximum 16 passengers.
Soon, there would be different options for tourists to explore Can Gio Mangrove Forest or the Tan Lap tourist area in the Mekong Delta province of Long An on a longer journey lasting from 50 to 80 minutes, said Nguyen Minh Man of TST Tourist.
HCMC hopes to receive 25 million domestic and 3.5 million foreign tourists this year.
Its tourism sector has a revenue target of VND97.7 trillion.
