Sun Group, Accor, and Ennismore signed an agreement on Thursday to introduce Rixos, a luxury all-inclusive resort brand, to Hon Thom, Phu Quoc, marking its first venture in Southeast Asia.

According to the agreement, Accor and Ennismore will manage and operate Rixos Phu Quoc, the first Rixos resort in Southeast Asia. The all-inclusive model allows guests to access the resort's services, entertainment, and relaxation offerings with a single payment.

Founded in 2000 in Antalya, Turkey, Rixos is a high-end hotel brand under Ennismore, a company known for a portfolio of well-regarded lifestyle hotel brands.

Since Ennismore’s strategic partnership with Accor in 2021, Rixos has expanded its presence in the hospitality and lifestyle sector.

Rixos Phu Quoc is located on Hon Thom Island, part of Sun Group’s Sun Paradise Land ecosystem. The resort features nearly 2,000 rooms, including 207 ocean-view suites with private access to pristine beaches.

A key feature of the resort is Nam Phuong Palace, inspired by the conical hat of Queen Nam Phuong. This structure recreates the grandeur of a royal palace, providing a unique space for guests.

At Rixos Phu Quoc, the all-inclusive model ensures that guests can access a wide range of services, from accommodations and dining to entertainment and relaxation, with one payment.

These services include exclusive facilities like private beaches, the Rixy Kids Club, spas, fitness centers, and a variety of activities within the Sun Paradise Land ecosystem.

The all-inclusive offerings at Rixos Phu Quoc include nearly 20 restaurants and bars, family-friendly beachfront areas, swimming pools, outdoor play zones, fitness centers, and spas. Guests can also enjoy attractions such as Sunset Town, the world’s longest three-wire cable car ride; Aquatopia Water Park; world-class art performances; and other experiences.

Gaurav Bhushan, Co-CEO of Ennismore, shared: "At Rixos, the all-inclusive model is central to our brand, and we are excited to bring it to Southeast Asia. Inspired by both local culture and global influences, Rixos Phu Quoc offers a unique option for those seeking an all-inclusive luxury experience."

Nguyen Vu Quynh Anh, CEO of Sun Hospitality Group, emphasized, "With Rixos Phu Quoc, we expect Sun Group to play a significant role in enhancing Vietnam’s hospitality industry and elevating Phu Quoc’s profile as a top-tier destination for global tourists."

In recent years, Phu Quoc has gained attention with its new high-quality offerings, such as unique art shows and iconic landmarks, including the Kiss Bridge and the upcoming sail-shaped tower on Hon Thom Island.

The addition of Rixos to Phu Quoc highlights the island’s growing appeal as a luxury destination. The Sun Paradise Land ecosystem, which spans three main zones—the Eastern beaches, Sunset Town on the Western coast, and Hon Thom Island—connects the island’s most scenic locations, providing a comprehensive travel experience that blends relaxation, entertainment, and sports.

The presence of other high-end brands like The Luxury Collection and Ritz Carlton Reserve, along with the planned development of a world-class golf course, a beachfront cultural center, and a large-scale exhibition venue, further enhances Phu Quoc’s appeal as a premier destination for international travelers.

"We are impressed by Sun Group’s comprehensive service ecosystem in Phu Quoc. This rare offering, both in Vietnam and globally, allows our ‘All-Inclusive’ model to deliver a complete and luxurious experience for guests," a Rixos representative stated.
