Kerr posted a series of photos from her trip to Japan with her husband on Instagram on June 1.
"Japan holds a special place in my heart, and experiencing Kyoto with my love was incredibly meaningful," she wrote in the caption.
Born into 1983, Kerr rose to prominence in 2007 as one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Since 2008, she has consistently ranked on the Forbes list of highest earning models.
Her husband Spiegel was the youngest billionaire in the world in 2015. As of May 2025, he had a personal net worth of $2.6 billion according to Forbes.

"From serene gardens to sacred temples, every moment felt so special—but it was the quiet pauses that meant the most," she wrote in a photo with the two of them meditating at a temple.
"Meditation has long been a meaningful part of my life, and being in a place where mindfulness is woven into the culture felt deeply grounding. Feeling connected, peaceful, and truly grateful," she added.

The couple visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, also known as the Pure Water Temple, which originates from the Otowa Falls that flow through the area. The temple is over 1,200 years old and was founded during the Nara period.

The temple features impressive architecture, with its main hall built on a cliff.
The facade consists of a high platform supported by 139 wooden pillars, each 12 meters tall. Its intersecting beam-and-column structure resembles a grandstand, with the main hall jutting out from the mountainside.

From the main hall, visitors can enjoy stunning views of Kyoto. The temple is especially popular during Kyoto's peak seasons - cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant red foliage in autumn - when it draws the largest crowds of the year.

The temple is famous for its pure water.
The three streams of water flowing down from the Otowa Falls are said to bring good luck in health, love and education. Visitors often line up to drink the water or wash their faces in the hope of receiving positive energy.
