Japanese airport beats Singapore Changi to rank among world's top 20 for passenger experience

Nagoya Chubu Airport in Japan has surpassed Singapore Changi to appear in a list of world's 20 best airports in terms of passenger satisfaction, as compiled by AirHelp, a global leader in flight compensation services.

The ranking evaluated passenger experience at 250 airports worldwide based on three criteria: on-time performance, customer opinion, and the quality of food and retail services.

While Changi stood at 34th, Nagoya Chubu ranked 15th with a score of 8.2 out of 10 for on-time performance, 8.1 for customer opinion and 8 for the quality of food and shops.

It is one of Japan's most convenient airports, offering a wide range of shopping and dining opportunities that even include a public bath and a Boeing museum.

Cape Town Airport in South Africa was named the world's best airport in AirHelp ranking, followed by Doha Hamad Airport in Qatar and Riyadh King Khaled Airport in Saudi Arabia.
