Four Hanoi hotel rooftops named world's most beautiful

Hanoi La Siesta Diamond Hotel took first place in the world's top 25 rooftop hotel list, part of 2021 Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards compiled by U.S. travel site Tripadvisor.
The winners were determined by an algorithm that analyzed properties tagged with ‘rooftop bar’ or ‘rooftop terrace’ on Tripadvisor along with the quality and quantity of reader reviews and ratings.
"Perfect hotel for a city break. One of the best parts is, without a doubt, the [Diamond] Sky Bar. Stunning views over the lake and old quarter, live music and really good drinks," a Tripadvisor user commented.
The hotel stands on Lo Su Street to the east of the Old Quarter and a short walk from Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake. Opened in May 2010, it has 34 luxury rooms and suites.

La Sinfonia del Rey Hotel on Hang Dau Street inside Hanoi's Old Quarter came third in the rooftop category. Opened in July 2019, the hotel is just two minutes’ walk from the Sword Lake and 11 minutes from St. Joseph's Cathedral.
Offering 360-degree panoramic views over the, the Terraço Sky Bar on the rooftop allows guests to enjoy an aerial view of Ngoc Son Temple and Turtle Tower in the Sword Lake.
It offers a menu of classic cocktails or a signature that takes inspiration from the city. Each signature cocktail tells the story of an ancient Old Quarter street through its flavor and character.
"The most stunning hotel I have ever seen with the most exceptional sky bar!" a Tripadvisor user wrote.

The Peridot Grand Hotel and Spa, a five-star boutique property in Hanoi managed by AIRA Hospitality Group, on Duong Thanh Street came at sixth position.
"Lovely new hotel with a perfect location, in the middle of the old town. The interior is beautiful, just like the rooftop bar and pool," a Tripadvisor reader stated.

This hotel has a bar and an infinity pool on the rooftop, allowing guests to swim and watch the capital from above.

JM Marvel Hotel & Spa on Hang Da Street ranked eighth on the list.
Put into operation in 2018, the hotel has 45 luxury rooms while its rooftop has a bar and coffee shop.
"Lovely rooftop bar where you can enjoy a quiet drink away from the hustle and bustle of this crazy but fantastic city," a Tripadvisor reader commented.
