Haneda Airport in Tokyo surpassed Hamad International Airport in Doha as world's second airport this year as voted by online magazine Smart Travel Asia.

Doha Hamad last year was crowned as the world's second best airport in the ranking after Singapore's Changi but has been pushed to the fifth position, according to the 2025 Best in Travel Poll, which ran from June to August.

As the primary airport serving Doha, Qatar's capital, Hamad airport offers a blend of modern design and top-tier amenities, including a luxury hotel with over 100 guest rooms, tropical gardens, and shopping malls.

With more than 55 dining options, the airport hosts renowned culinary brands like Gordon Ramsay Burger, Starbucks, and Burger King.

Haneda Airport is famous for being Japan's busiest airport and a major domestic hub known for its outstanding user facilities, cleanliness, punctuality, and close proximity to central Tokyo.
