Bangkok ranks as Asia's top city in Facebook check-ins, Tripadvisor reviews

The report assessed 140 cities in the region based on three key categories—liveability, lovability, and prosperity—using data from a survey of 7,000 respondents across Asia-Pacific.

Tripadvisor hosts more than two million reviews of Bangkok's hotels, attractions, and restaurants, highlighting its popularity among travelers.

The Thai capital is renowned for its Buddhist pagodas with stunning architecture, attracting many tourists who often pose for photos in traditional Thai costumes.

Overall, Bangkok was ranked the sixth best city in the region.

Last year, research firm Euromonitor International named Bangkok the world's top tourism city after it welcomed a record-breaking 32.4 million visitors.
