In the video, the male tourist is seen approaching a chained tiger with a trainer standing nearby. He kneels beside the animal to take a selfie, while the trainer uses a stick to keep the tiger calm.
Suddenly, the tiger turns aggressive and lunges at the man.
According to The Straits Times, the victim only sustained minor injuries.
The video sparked an outcry on social media, with users criticizing the use of wild animals for tourism.
One wrote: "Attractions that allow photography and feeding of animals are often dangerous for both humans and the animals."
The person added that they hoped the incident would raise awareness and encourage more responsible and ethical wildlife tourism practices.
