HCMC-Singapore 7th busiest international route in Southeast Asia

Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore was the seventh busiest international route in Southeast Asia in July with 168,568 passengers.

The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore route remained the busiest with 414,000 passengers, followed by Jakarta-Singapore (347,944) and Bangkok-Singapore (299,256), according to a report from OAG, a British provider of digital flight information, intelligence and analytics.

Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air operate daily flights from HCMC to Singapore with one-way fares starting at VND2.3 million (USD$97.22).

Singapore’s Changi Airport remained the busiest in the region with 3.2 million passengers, an increase of 5% from June.

Vietnam’s largest airport, Tan Son Nhat, in HCMC ranked fifth with 2.3 million.
