British restaurant chain Burger & Lobster has announced that it will close its only Singapore outlet at Jewel Changi Airport on March 10, after six years of operation.

The chain did not reveal the reason for its closure.

The restaurant is offering a one-for-one promotion on its signature lobster rolls as a goodbye to all diners, Channel News Asia reported.

The promotion is available for dine-in customers at the Jewel outlet, though it does not include sides such as fries and salad.

In April 2024, the outlet at Jewel Changi Airport was fined S$3,000 (US$2,250) following a May 2022 incident in which the Singapore Food Agency received reports of gastroenteritis affecting more than 130 diners.

Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex surrounded by and linked to one of the passenger terminals of Changi Airport.

Its centerpiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, that is surrounded by a terraced forest setting.
