6 direct destinations in North America
China Airlines seeks to take advantage of the strong travel demand between Taiwan and the U.S., and the addition of the non-stop service to Seattle represents an important step in the carrier’s expansion of its North American network.
More than 50 million travelers passed through Seattle Airport in 2023, making it the largest airport in the Northwest USA.

China Airlines can also provide interline ticketing to 50 popular inland destination cities, including Portland, Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Atlanta. The expansion of the U.S. inland market strengthens the overall air network.
China Airlines has operated in the North American market for more than half a century, and growth has been particularly strong in the post-pandemic period.
The carrier currently flies to five major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles, Ontario (CA), San Francisco, New York, and Vancouver.
In addition, the scheduled non-stop service to Ontario (CA) in particular was the first of its kind from Asia and remains exclusive to China Airlines.
The dual airport-one city configuration also expands the passenger market for China Airlines and provides up to three flights a day to the Greater Los Angeles region.
The Seattle route will expand China Airlines’ North American network to six non-stop destinations. More than 40 return flights to North America each week means even greater convenience for both business travelers and tourists.
