Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways announced their flights to and from Frankfurt International Airport on Monday will be rescheduled due to an upcoming strike at Germany’s biggest aviation hub.

Vietnam Airlines said Flight VN36 from Frankfurt to Hanoi would depart at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, instead of Monday afternoon as initially scheduled.

Flight VN31 from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to Frankfurt will be rescheduled for 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday while Flight VN30 from Frankfurt to HCMC will depart at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Bamboo Airways said in a press release its round-trip flights connecting Hanoi with Frankfurt would be rescheduled for Tuesday, instead of Monday.

Flight QH73 on the Hanoi-Frankfurt route will depart at 3:15 am (local time) while Flight QH74 will depart Frankfurt for Hanoi at 12:45 pm (local time).

Bamboo Airways currently operates direct flights between Vietnam and Germany, with two weekly round-trip flights on the Hanoi-Frankfurt route, and one weekly flight on the HCMC-Frankfurt route.

Passengers planning to travel between Hanoi, HCMC and Frankfurt during this period should regularly consult the latest information on the official channels of the carriers.

Frankfurt International Airport said it won’t be able to provide regular service on March 27 as workers are staging a one-day strike at Germany’s biggest aviation hub, adding to disruptions that have hobbled the European travel market for months amid persistent pay disputes, Bloomberg reported.
