Vietnam hotel among most ‘striking additions’ in Asia: CNN

The hotel is third on the list of the most "striking additions to the hotel landscape" in Asia this year.

Located in Quy Nhon City, capital of the south central province of Binh Dinh, Anantara Quy Nhon has 26 beachfront bedroom villas in a lush tropical surrounding. The hotel offers private pools, butler services and high-quality cuisine experience.

Anantara Quy Nhon Villas is surrounded by mountain on three sides and overlooking the Bay of Quy Nhon.

Other hotels in the list include The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, Six Senses Krabey Island, Cambodia and Waldorf Astoria Bangkok.

Quy Nhon might not be the most famous tourism draw in Vietnam, but the coastal city boasts pristine beaches with old temples dating back 800 years, CNN notes.

One of the important coastal cities in the south central of Vietnam, Quy Nhon is home to vestiges of the Champa Kingdom, an old empire that reigned until the 19th century in central Vietnam.

The city, which lies between popular coastal attractions of  Nha Trang and Hoi An, has been able to better preserve its natural beauty, including its Ky Co or Eo Gio beaches.

In 2015, the U.K. travel publisher Rough Guides named Quy Nhon among top nine off-the-beaten-track escapes in Southeast Asia.

U.K. newspaper The Guardian also listed Quy Nhon in top 10 winter sun destinations for 2018.
