A bus with a Lao license plate, with around 30 people onboard, plunged head-first off a road in central Ha Tinh Province on Wednesday.

The coach was running along National Highway 15A at around 9 a.m. when the driver lost control on a section through Ha Tinh's Huong Khe District. The vehicle rammed into road barriers and plunged itself over a meter deep down below.

Over 30 people onboard panicked and escaped through the vehicle's door. No one was injured.

At the scene, the front section of the bus can be seen planting into the ground, while the back is lifted from the ground. The vehicle was slightly damaged, with an oil leak.

At the time of the incident, the road's surface was wet due to the rain. There are no houses nearby.

The traffic police department of Ha Tinh, in cooperation with police forces of Huong Khe District, deployed two crane trucks to the site to bring the bus back on the ground.

An investigation is ongoing.
