Several retailers said the discount is aimed at boosting demand during the pre-Lunar New Year (Tet) shopping season this month.
First released in late 2021, the 13 is currently the lowest-priced iPhone model still officially available in Vietnam, offered only in the 128GB version with two color options: black and white, Dan Tri newspaper reported.
For comparison, the latest 17, released last September, is selling for VND24.9 million.
Apple discontinued the 13 lineup in September 2024 shortly after introducing the 16 series.
However, the model continues to be distributed through official channels in several markets, including Vietnam.

Retailers said 13 sales have remained stable over the past six months and are expected to increase by 20–30% during the run-up to Tet.
In recent months, prices of the iPhone 13 and other older models such as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 have edged up.
A spokesperson for a major retail chain said that prices have increased mainly due to limited supply and fluctuations in the U.S. dollar, which have raised import costs.
