Video of humanoid robot going ‘crazy’ and attacking worker sparks uproar on social media

A video showing a humanoid robot attacking its handler while attempting to escape its restraints has triggered widespread reactions on social media.

The CCTV footage from a factory in China, which surfaced online, captures the robot tied to a crane suddenly flailing its arms violently in an attempt to break free.

Two employees, one sitting in front of a computer and the other behind the robot, rush away as the robot moves forward and collides with surrounding objects.

One of the men manages to pull the crane to stop the robot, ending the terrifying moment.

"This is what the machine uprising might look like," Belarusian TV outlet Nexta wrote in a caption on an X video of the alleged attack the reported incident, which has garnered over 100,000 views, according to the New York Post.

The incident occurred on May 1 and quickly sparked online buzz, with many users reacting to the footage and sharing their thoughts, according to the Daily Mail.

"We are cooked. No wires pulling just pure chaos," according to The Mirror quoted one viewer as saying.

Another said: "This stuff right here is why robots freak me out. This is one technology I think we have taken it too far."

One more added: "It's like I'm the only person in the world who saw Terminator."
