Users began experiencing interruptions on Tuesday morning, though some noted the issue started the previous day. The problem appears to be limited to the browser-based version, while the mobile and desktop apps continued functioning normally, as reported by Thanh Nien.

Tran Tu, a user from Hanoi, said that when he accessed Messenger on his computer, most chats displayed content from days ago, with only one conversation being up to date. He added that the mobile app showed all of his conversations, organized in proper order, and sent timely notifications.

According to reports on the monitoring site DownDetector, both Vietnamese and international users flagged issues with Messenger starting in the early hours of Tuesday. The disruption remains unresolved.

In recent months, Messenger and Facebook have faced frequent stability issues. Common problems include platform inaccessibility, disrupted content display, homepage updates, and failures to send images or messages.
