Page began the year in second place, with a fortune of around $270 billion in mid-January.
His wealth climbed alongside shares of Google parent Alphabet, crossing $300 billion in April and making him only the third person Forbes had recorded reaching that level, after Elon Musk and Ellison.
The first change came in early June.
Ellison overtook Page on June 2 after Oracle shares surged 28% over five trading days, lifting his fortune to $296 billion. At the time, Page was worth about $295 billion, while Musk remained far ahead at $826 billion.
Ellison owns more than 38% of Oracle, according to LSEG data cited by Reuters, making his fortune sensitive to movements in the company's shares.
His stay in second place was brief.
Oracle shares fell 17% over the following week, wiping nearly $50 billion from his wealth and sending him down to fifth by June 9. Page returned to second and remained there through the summer. Forbes estimated his fortune at $277 billion on Sept. 1, ahead of Bezos at $268 billion.

Another change came just over a week later.
Dell became the world's second richest person for the first time on Sept. 9 after Dell Technologies shares rose 4% to a record high, lifting his fortune to $273.2 billion. Page was worth $270.3 billion.
It marked a rapid climb for Dell, 61, who began the year with $141 billion and ranked 13th globally.
His rise has been fueled by booming demand for AI servers. Dell received more than $130 billion in AI-server orders over the 12 months through August and expects $74 billion in AI-server revenue this fiscal year, Reuters reported. Dell Technologies shares had more than tripled since the beginning of the year. Dell owns about 40% of the company.
Dell dropped to fourth on Sept. 14 after the company's shares fell more than 6%, wiping $15.1 billion from his fortune and leaving him with $261.4 billion.
By Sept. 15, Bezos had become the latest tech billionaire to occupy second place.
Forbes estimated his fortune at $368.4 billion, ahead of Page at $282.8 billion and Dell at $265.7 billion.
Beyond his Amazon stake, Bezos owns aerospace company Blue Origin, which Forbes estimates is worth $130 billion.
While four tech moguls have traded places behind him this year, Musk has remained the world's richest person. He became the first person worth $1 trillion on June 12 after SpaceX went public. His wealth briefly peaked at a record $1.45 trillion four days later before falling below $1 trillion as SpaceX shares declined and restrictions were placed on some of his Tesla shares.
As of Monday, Musk was worth an estimated $946.4 billion, 2.5 times Bezos' fortune.
