The prenup could entitle Sanchez to $1 million for each year of marriage if the couple splits, according to lifestyle magazine L'officiel USA. It may also include property and other assets, though full details remain undisclosed.
"His lawyers won't let him move ahead without it," a source told the Daily Mail, adding that the agreement covers Bezos’ real estate, vehicles, jewelry, and other assets. Bezos has an estimated net worth of $220.3 billion as of May 30, according to Forbes.
Legal expert Dain Dreyer told HELLO! magazine that the absence of a prenup in Bezos’ first marriage has likely influenced his current approach.
"His divorce from MacKenzie Scott reportedly ended amicably, but it also highlighted the risks of entering marriage without a prenup when vast wealth is at stake," Dreyer said. "That experience likely results in this prenup being even more intentional and detailed."

Bezos and Scott, who married in 1993 and co-founded Amazon during its early days as an online bookseller, announced their divorce in January 2019 after 25 years of marriage.
At the time, Bezos was the world’s richest man. The couple, who share four children, lived in U.S.’s Washington state, a community property state where assets and debts acquired during marriage are considered jointly owned unless a prenuptial agreement exists, according to Times of India.
Because they had no prenup, the two reached a private settlement.
In April 2019, Scott received 25% of the couple’s Amazon holdings, about 4% of the company’s total shares, worth $38.3 billion, according to Bloomberg, making her one of the richest women in the world.
The divorce remains the most expensive publicly confirmed settlement, Investopedia reported.
Bezos and Sánchez began dating in 2019 and got engaged in May 2023. The couple’s wedding is set to take place in Venice, Italy, and is expected to cost around $10 million, with reports claiming Bezos has booked five luxury hotels and every water taxi in the city for the occasion.
