On Monday, Alphabet’s shares rose by 5.8% to around $317, adding $8.7 billion to Page’s wealth. Ellison’s net worth was estimated at $248.8 billion, according to Forbes.

Sergey Brin, who cofounded Google with Page in 1998, saw his wealth increase, surpassing Amazon’s Jeff Bezos to become the fourth-richest person globally with a net worth of $236.4 billion.

Page’s rise to second place follows Alphabet’s stock surge, sparked by the debut of the company’s AI model, Gemini 3.

The stock had jumped 3% last week, allowing Page to overtake Bezos and secure the third spot among the world’s wealthiest, according to Fortune.

Alphabet's AI-driven rally continues, with the company reporting a 34% boost in cloud revenue, marking the first time Alphabet surpassed $100 billion in quarterly revenue.

Meanwhile, Oracle’s stock has declined, alongside other tech giants such as Nvidia and Broadcom, amid growing concerns about an AI bubble. Investors have begun betting against Oracle, part of a broader trend against the AI trade, according to Bloomberg.
