Lim Se-ryeong, vice chairwoman of Daesang Group, sparked a shopping frenzy in South Korea after the luxury items she wore during a rare public reunion with her ex-husband, Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Jae-yong, went viral online.

Lim and Lee attended their son Lee Ji-ho’s commissioning ceremony at the Republic of Korea Naval Academy in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, on Nov. 28, where Lim appeared in an all-black ensemble featuring a long coat, sunglasses, and a handbag.

Lim’s coat is the "Michael Rider" from Celine’s 2026 Spring/Summer collection. Although the piece has not yet officially gone on sale, it became one of the most-searched fashion items online following her appearance, Chosun Daily reported.

Her sunglasses were identified as the SL 782 model from Saint Laurent, priced between 400,000 and 600,000 won (US$272–407). They are already sold out on major e-commerce sites.

The handbag she carried was the Agnes tote from American luxury brand The Row, founded by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, according to Maeil Business Newspaper.

Priced between 7.6 million and 8 million won through online retailers, the bag has gained renewed popularity after being spotted on several celebrities, including Blackpink’s Jennie and actress Han Ga-in.

The event also drew public attention for reuniting members of two prominent chaebol families Samsung and Daesang. It marked the first time Lim and Lee had appeared together at a public event since their 2009 divorce.

According to Znews, their daughter Lee Won-ju, born in 2004, also became a fashion sensation in 2022 when a Versace silk dress she wore to a high-society wedding sold out within hours.
