Billionaire Bill Gates to appear on South Korean talk show ‘You Quiz on the Block’

According to Korea JoongAnd daily, CJ ENM expressed excitement over Gates’ upcoming appearance on Monday: "We are honored to invite Bill Gates to our show, who connects the world through technology and changes it through donations."

The company added that the program’s mission to promote human dignity aligns with the Gates Foundation’s core belief that "every life has equal value."

The episode featuring Gates is expected to air later this month, though an exact date has not yet been announced. Previous high-profile guests include American actress Scarlett Johansson and American-French actor Timothée Chalamet.

The Korea Herald reported that launched in 2018, "You Quiz on the Block" has become one of South Korea’s most-watched talk shows. Hosted by renowned comedian Yoo Jae Suk alongside Jo Se Ho, the program highlights conversations with guests from diverse fields and backgrounds.

At 69, Gates has an estimated net worth of US$118 billion, according to Forbes as of Aug. 20, making him the 15th-richest person in the world.
