Female model Phuong Oanh has strutted down the runway for American fashion brand Marc Jacobs in New York .

She walked the catwalk at the Park Avenue Armory last Friday, wearing 20-cm-high-platform shoes while wearing a moss green oversized coat from the American designer's Spring 2023 collection.

The long-line coat features an elongated high neckline and cargo pockets.

The Vietnamese model appeared in a platinum and wet hairstyle, crossing her arms to fully convey the concept of the show.

This is Oanh’s first major show this year. She'll continue to cast for the New York Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023, which starts on February 10.

The exhibition marks Marc Jacobs' first full-fledged fashion show since the Covid outbreak. It's also a memorial to the late British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, who was known as "The Queen of Punk" for her groundbreaking designs. Westwood passed away last December at 81.

Some models crossed their arms while walking the runway, a pose that is symbolic of the individuality and defiance that permeate Vivienne Westwood's creations and the people who wear them.

Oanh, born in 1999 in the northern province of Dien Bien, is known for participating in "Vietnam’s Next Top Model" season All Stars 2017. She is 1.78 meters tall, with an angular face and bold Asian facial features.

She signed with multiple large model management agencies including PRM Agency, Women Management, and Taste Management.

Oanh has walked the catwalks at London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week, modeling for many international brands such as Stella McCartney, MM6 Maison Margiela, Erdem, Halpern and others.

She was also the first Vietnamese model to participate in Gucci's promotional campaign last July and catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana's Spring Summer 2022 show in September 2021.
