The VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023 shirts feature triangular stripe patterns inspired by Nhat Binh dress, an imperial attire under the Nguyen Dynasty.

Green remains the theme color of VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue running outfits this year like in the previous two tournaments.

"The color is emblematic of a rising green city," an organizer said.

The shirt has the VnExpress Marathon logo printed on the left chest, Imperial Hue title in the middle, and the word "VMHUE2023" on the back.

The race shirt's highlight is triangular stripe pattern, a distinctive feature of Nhat Binh dress. As a cultural heritage of Hue, Nhat Binh served as the costumes for empress mothers, imperial princesses, imperial concubines and noble women under the Nguyen Dynasty. The costume is loved by today Hue women, and often chosen as a wedding dress.

VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue shirts have two versions: T-shirts for 5 km and 10 km runners and singlets for 21 km and 42 km runners.

Groups of more than 50 members registering in the early sale period will have their club's logo printed on their shirts.

In previous races, the route covered the Hue Citadel, the Truong Tien Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Pedagogical University, and Thien Mu Pagoda.
