This is the third time VnExpress Marathon comes to Hue. During the Super Early Bird phase, entry for the five-kilometer distance is a low VND250,000 ($10.78) and for the 42-kilometer event, VND750,000.
Runners participating for the second and third time will enjoy a discount of 20 percent and 30 percent, respectively. To apply for this promotion, athletes have to buy tickets with the email they had used for previous tournaments.

The tournament also offers group discounts, with those of over 700 people offered discounts of up to 40 percent, groups of 300-499 30 percent, groups of 100-299 people 15 percent, and groups of 10 - 29 people 10 percent.
The organizer also launched other special offers in this period: Groups of over 50 people will have their group logo printed on the running shirts, athletes running distances of 21 and 42 kilometers will have their name printed on the finisher shirt if the result is valid. In VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2023, runners registered for the 21-kilometer and 42-kilometer distances can choose a style for their running shirt.

VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2022 held on April 10 attracted 4,700 participants. The tournament had many changes in the route and organization. The route's starting and finishing points were in two different places and the route passed by iconic landmarks of the ancient capital, its suburbs and green rice fields.
In April, Hue's temperature is pleasant. The race day temperature was about 20 degrees Celsius, which helped the runners compete comfortably. The route of VM Hue 2022 met AIMS standards with many straight and flat sections, so that many althletes could set personal records, 31 completing the full marathon in under three hours. The most prominent runner was Pham Thi Hue, who broke VM's record with a time of 2:50:33 to become its new champion.
During the days of VM Hue 2022, more than 22,000 tourists came to Hue, helping the province collect more than VND40 billion in tourism revenues. VM Hue 2023 is expected to continue to help Hue promote its tourism image as the size of the tournament may increase to more than 7,000 runners.
