In the latest update of ATP world rankings, Vietnam's number one tennis player Ly Hoang Nam peaked at 364th, his highest position to date.

Nam has climbed 29 places after the ATP included the third M15 title he won in Tay Ninh two weeks ago.

The 25-year-old is in the best form of his career so far, having won all three of his most recent tournaments. The three titles helped Nam jump 113 places on ATP rankings in just three weeks, from 477th on June 6 to 364th on June 27.

This is also Nam's highest position on the world ranking to date. In late 2018, he reached the 385th position, but then the Covid-19 pandemic prevented him from playing in both domestic and international tournaments. There was a moment when Nam was close to exiting the top 1000.

There are also five other Vietnamese players in the world rankings, but all of them remain outside the top 1,000, namely Vu Ha Minh Duc (1,516th), Nguyen Van Phuong (1,586th), Trinh Linh Giang (1,698th), Tu Le Khanh Duy and Nguyen Dac Tien (both at 1,801st).
