Taki and coach Naul of Team Secret Whales (TSW) shared their assessments of two direct Taiwanese rivals, CFO and PSG Talon, ahead of the decisive rounds of the League of Legends Championship Pacific 2025.

Speaking to VnExpress, Taki said he has faced both CFO and PSG Talon in international competitions before. Meeting them again in Da Nang on home ground, however, gives his team a significant psychological advantage.

According to Taki, the two Taiwanese teams share similar styles: strong individual skills and play that leans toward control. Going deeper into tactical analysis, Naul observed that both CFO and PSG Talon punish mistakes severely and apply pressure with a slow, methodical tempo. While their styles are similar, they differ in habits, tactics, and team composition.

Naul noted that CFO has two top-lane players, providing strategic flexibility, along with a stable jungler in Junjia. PSG Talon, by contrast, plays more slowly and deliberately, relying on the experience of their seasoned roster. CFO often produces unexpected variations that catch opponents off guard, while PSG Talon emphasizes full game control, limiting opportunities for counterattacks.

On the question of advantages and challenges, both Taki and Naul agreed that the home-field advantage in Da Nang is key. Naul highlighted that the audience’s support will provide moral strength for TSW’s young players. However, he also acknowledged that performing on a big stage for the first time could test the relatively inexperienced roster.

To reach the grand final of LCP 2025, TSW must first defeat PSG Talon in the loser’s bracket final. With the aggressive style typical of the VCS region, the Vietnamese team aims to dictate the tempo from the early minutes rather than being drawn into the slower, control-oriented game favored by the Taiwanese opponents.
