Gen. G, runner-up of South Korea's national League of Legends Championship (LCK) are recruiting players from Vietnam.

LCK, one of the top League of Legends (LoL) championships in the world, is really strict about recruiting foreign players.

However, LCK 2021 runner-up Gen. G has broken with tradition to seek new talents in Vietnam, with players set to join Gen. G Academy.

On their official Facebook page, Gen. G requires candidates to be under 21, rank above Master level in Vietnam, be able to relocate to Gen. G Academy, qualify for overseas travel and be fluent in English.

The drafted players will be provided with flights, salaries and accommodation, with applications to be submitted in Vietnamese.

Although Vietnamese teams have not been able to participate in international League of Legends esports tournaments for the past two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the level of domestic players has always been highly rated.
