About a month before the race day on June 15, organizers revealed the official race kit. All runners who collect their kits will get a cap, race shirt, and medal upon finishing their registered distance. The finisher shirt is exclusively reserved for those completing the two longest distances and is not available for purchase.

Local identity reflected in each race item
This year’s race shirt features a turquoise color inspired by the summer sea of central Vietnam. Stylized wave patterns symbolize the spirit of moving forward. Runners in the 21km and 42km distances can choose either a T-shirt or singlet to suit their needs. The back displays the Vietnamese flag and "Quy Nhon 2025" printed vertically.
Made from cool sports spandex, the shirts are lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying-ideal for central Vietnam’s summer weather. All race and finisher shirts are produced exclusively by Vietnamese sports brand Velosar and are not sold commercially.
Athletes completing the 42km receive a moss green finisher shirt inspired by the Nhon Hai moss-covered rocks, a famous coastal landmark. This color represents endurance and determination, carrying the message: "Persistent like moss, determined to the finish."
For the 21km finishers, the shirt is deep ocean blue, symbolizing the powerful waves surging toward the finish line.
Spinning medal inspired by Cham tower
The medal is a standout feature of the race. At its center is a 360-degree rotating replica of the main tower from the Banh It complex - a distinctive Cham architectural heritage site in Binh Dinh - framed within a stylized arch. "Quy Nhon 2025" is inscribed beneath the tower, marking the sixth edition of the VnExpress Marathon in the city. On the reverse, the word "With" is engraved, reflecting the message behind this year’s race.
Beyond aesthetics, the rotating detail symbolizes motion and multidimensional exploration, making the medal a collectible with commemorative value. The strap features sea blue and green tones, matching other items in the race kit.

Nguyen Dinh Huy, a Hanoi runner who has participated in VM Quy Nhon three times, said: "I'm especially impressed by the moss green finisher shirt for the 42km. It truly reflects the spirit of the coastal city. To me, it’s a reward for enduring the sun and wind of central Vietnam and a personal triumph".
Nearly 10,000 runners have registered for VM Quy Nhon 2025. To receive this year's race kit, participants must complete registration before the final bib sale closes on May 29 and finish the race according to organizers' rules.
