The contract between Huynh Nhu and Lank will end when the 2023-2024 season concludes. The 33-year-old striker did not renew her contract with the Portuguese club and intended to return home. Currently, Nhu and Lank still have two playoff games to battle for relegation on May 27 and June 9.

Nhu played 23 matches for Lank this season, with a total of 1,929 minutes on the field, an average of 83.87 minutes per match. The Vietnamese striker scored three goals and had one assist.

Her latest goal was a beautiful free kick that helped Lank win 2-0 against Maritimo in round 21 of the Portuguese championship Liga BPI on May 5. Nhu and her teammates then continued to defeat Atletico Ouriense 2-0 in the final round to rekindle their chances of escaping relegation. Lank's opponent in the upcoming two playoff games is Amora.

It's currently unclear which club Nhu will play for when she returns to Vietnam. Sources said that the captain of the Vietnam national women's football team will return to Ho Chi Minh City I WFC, where she won seven national championships.
