Lamine Yamal fuels breakup rumors after one week of going public with rapper girlfriend Nicki Nicole

On Aug. 25, Yamal posted an affectionate photo with Nicole to celebrate her birthday, as the young Barca star put his arms around the Argentine rapper's waist next to a cake, and put on a happy smile. This post officially ended months of speculation about the two, which began when Nicole was repeatedly spotted at events involving Yamal. She even wore his number 10 jersey during a friendly match of Barcelona.

However, on Sept. 1, all traces of Nicole disappeared from Yamal's Instagram account. The birthday photo, previously the only evidence of their official relationship, was removed. Similarly, there was no mention of Yamal on Nicole's account.

The sudden move have fueled rumors that the couple have quickly split. Many fans believe the removal of posts signals a breakup, while others suggest they may simply want to keep their relationship private after attracting extensive media and fan attention. Some noted that the birthday post appeared only in Instagram stories, not on the main page, making it unclear whether a breakup has occurred.

Neither Yamal nor Nicole has commented and speculation continued, considering the rapper recently made her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, singer Peso Pluma, public.

Nicki Nicole, whose real name is Nicole Denise Cucco, is a renowned Argentine singer and rapper, with eight Latin Grammy nominations. Nicole is Yamal's third public relationship, following Alex Padilla, 21 and Fati Vazquez, 29. This does not include rumored past relationships of the Barcelona and Spain prodigy.
